Lars Martin Holta
Founder, wildlife photographer, tour leader & field guide
Lars is a Norwegian wildlife photographer, tour guide and trained safari guide registered with the Field Guide Association of Southern Africa. With a fascination and admiration for wildlife from an early age and a passion for wildlife photography, he is driven by a desire to introduce others to the wonders and magic of nature, as well as to create photographic opportunities for those he travels with. With a camera in hand and a thirst for discovering new wild destinations, he strives to create unique encounters and connect guests to nature in an authentic way.
His background is in guiding. He has lived a year in South Africa’s Lowveld region where he studied and was trained as a safari guide around the Kruger National Park under the direction of EcoTraining. Here he really discovered an interest in showing and teaching others about the same nature he has always wanted to get close to. He also has experience from working in a luxury lodge in South Africa's Eastern Cape province where he has guided guests and worked as a photographer.
Now he wants to combine everything to create powerful and diverse experiences to leaves a lasting and positive impression on those that joins him to the world’s wildernesses. Experiences that both inspire guests and benefits local people as well as the precious wildlife that we admire and want to see.
