Terms & Conditions:

Wild Selection Tours is a member of the Norwegian Travel Guarantee Fund and provides with a travel guarantee.

Registration:

  • A non refundable depositum is required to secure your reservation and a spot on the expedition within 14 days of the confirmation.

  • This is 30% of the full price, unless something else is specified in a travel brochure.

  • The reflecting amount of the price must be payed within 60 days prior to the start date. After the remaining amount is payed there is no refund.

  • If the registration is done within 3 months before departure, the full price must be payed immediately.

Cancellation:

  • Wild Selection Tours have the right to cancel a trip if any unexpected situations arrises that’s outside our control. If an unexpected situation arises at the destination, a natural disaster happens, war breaks out, etc., even if the participants have purchased airline tickets, Wild Selection Tours has no obligation to pay compensation and will not be hold accountable.

  • Wild Selection Tours will not be held responsible, or pay any compensation, if the performance of our contractual obligations is affected, cancelled, delayed or otherwise impacted upon by Force Majeure.

  • Any decision made in respect of tour services by independent operators to re-route or amend the itinerary due to any of the above or similar circumstances is at the discretion of the service provider and we shall not be liable for any claim whatsoever arising from such events. We will nevertheless use our best endeavors to obtain a refund or replace the tour. We also put down a lot of effort to look for the safest routs to travel, the best accommodations possible and reliable collaborators and local guides. The decisions they make is out of our control, but we will do everything we can keep the guests updated on any activities.

  • If the customer decides to cancel the tour on their own behalf this will come into effect regarding the remaining amount of price unless anything else is specified in our travel brochure:

    -120 days or more before departure: 75% is refunded.

    -119-90 days before departure: 50% is refunded.

    -89-60 days before departure: 25% is refunded

    -Less than 60 days before departure: No refund

  • Cancellation must happen in written form.

Price :

  • The prices is shown in US$, unless the local companies and accommodations require an other currency.

  • We reserve the right to change tour prices, and will use our best endeavor to notify you if there is an increase in airfares, air fuel surcharges, airline taxes or any currency and / or price adjustments, up until the day you leave. Prices will include taxes, surcharges and levies BUT these charges will as far as possible be reflected as a separate item(s) as these amounts are levied by third parties, and therefore beyond our control.

  • The prices are shown as the options of both a shared room and a single room. We try to give guests the option of choosing between these, and we’ll highlight if there’s no possibility of a single room. Please let us know as early as possible if you as the participant want a single room. However, travelers who have booked a double room must be prepared to pay a single room supplement if a roommate is not available.

Travel insurance:

  • It’s every guests own responsibility to make sure that they have the necessary insurances. It must cover: medical emergencies, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, personal belongings and camera gear.

  • Wild Selection Tours strongly recommend that the insurance covers the cancellation.

  • Insurance is compulsory for all guests and we strongly recommend that you be adequately covered by appropriate travel insurance. We will accept no liability before/after travel if you do not purchase insurance and you could be refused a seat on any safari with Wild Selection Tours.

  • We’re not responsible for any medical problems that may arise during a trip. Evacuation, expenses for hospital stays, etc. must be covered by the participant himself/herself through his/her travel insurance.

Traveler’s responsibility:

  • Every participants must always provide with the necessary information and documents that’s relevant to the tours..

  • It’s every traveler’s own responsibility to make sure that they meet any requirements made to enter a country, both prior and during the expeditions. Wild Selection Tours takes no responsibility in any documents that’s missing. This includes valid passport, visas and vaccines where necessary, travel documents. We can assist in pointing out necessary rules and checking out requirements where we have knowledge, but in the end it’s every travelers own responsibility to make sure that they have what’s required by any country.

  • It’s every guests own responsibility that they show up to the given dates and locations prior to Day 1 on every expeditions. Wild Selection Tours takes no responsibility for choosing the wrong route prior to Day 1.

  • The participant must ensure that Wild Selection Tours has the necessary information, such as address, email address, phone, mail and next of kin.

Risk Acknowledgement:

  • Many of our expeditions take place in remote destinations that includes exposure to natural conditions. This will be mentioned in the tour itinerary and also at difficulty levels. Our expeditions includes potential meetings with many potentially dangerous animals, and participation is at your own risk.

  • Wild Selection Tours is not liable for any injury, illness, death, loss, or damage in any form during the trip.

  • Participants are responsible for their physical and mental fitness. We always mention the difficulty level in our itineraries and expect the participants to be fit for our tours. Not only is this to make the expeditions run as smooth as possible, but it’s also for the participants to fully enjoy the experiences.

  • If reserve the right to exclude individuals who cannot safely participate.
